VIRTUAL OUTINGS

Please note: Virtual Outings are free of charge to members at this time.

Virtual Outings give Socialise members the option of going on an 'outing' with another member from the safety of your own home. It gives members an initial 'look' at potential friends or partners, and an opportunity to see how they interact and react in certain situations.

Virtual Outings are charged in 5 minute blocks, and members can keep their account in credit by paying online through our payment page, however you will have an indicator on screen during Virtual Outings to inform you of your account balance.

Members choose the outing destination from 3 choices; Restaurant Bar, Funpark or Zen Garden. The system will send both participants an invitation for the outing, informing them of the date/time. When a member books an outing that member will have the option of paying for both parties, or going 'Dutch' where each party pays for their own time.

Each member will have the option of accepting an invitation or not along with changing the dates/times/choice of outing. If the member booking the Virtual Outing pays for both parties, then the other member will not have the option of changing the outing place, just the date and/or time.

Within each setting, members will have additional actions that they are able to make their avatar do, along with a free typing field for free speech as they go along.
